DIRECTIONS

By Car

Ryerson University Campus is bounded by four major city street: Gerrard (north), Dundas (south), Jarvis (east), and Yonge (west). If traveling along Highway 401 (east or west), exit Yonge Street, drive south on Yonge, turning left (east) at Gould (no turns are permitted at Yonge and Dundas). You are now at Ryerson. If traveling along the Gardiner Expressway (east or west), exit at Yonge Street, continue north, and turn right on Gould Street. You are now at Ryerson. From Gould street turn right on Victoria street to get to Heaslip House.

Parking

There is a Ryerson Parking lot directly across the street from Heaslip House, but it will fill up during the day. There may still be spaces available prior to the conference’s registration at 8:30 am but if it is full or you arrive later than that you will need to find alternative parking. By Toronto Public Transit (TTC)

Toronto public transit is known as TTC. They operate subways, buses and streetcars around the city. Cash fair is $3.00. The nearest subway station to Ryerson University is Dundas Station on the Yonge line. Victoria street is one block East of the station. Walk one block East until you hit Victoria Street and then walk North until you reach Heaslip House at 297.

From Union Station

Union Station is Toronto’s train hub for both long distance and commuter trains. From Union Station proceed to the TTC subway terminal and take the Yonge line North to Dundas Station. Victoria street is one block East of the station. Walk one block East until you hit Victoria Street and then walk North until you reach Heaslip House at 297.

From Greyhound Bus Terminal

Toronto’s Greyhound Bus terminal is located at 610 Bay Street and is a very close walk to Ryerson University. After exiting the station walk South to Dundas street (less that five minutes), make a left and continue until you reach Victoria street (five to ten minutes) and then make a left onto Victoria street and proceed until you reach Heaslip House at 297.

From Lester B. Pearson International Airport

By Toronto Public Transit

To take the TTC from the airport take bus # 192 – The Airport Rocket – to Kipling Station. From there take the subway’s Green line to Bloor Station and take the Yonge line South to Dundas station. Victoria street is one block East of the station. Walk one block East until you hit Victoria Street and then walk North until you reach Heaslip House at 297. This will take approximately 50 minutes.

By Airport Express

Airport Express is a commercial service that provides transportation from Pearson International Airport to several downtown hotels. If using this service take the service to Bond Street Hotel which is just South of the Ryerson campus and just East of Victoria Street. Heaslip House will be about a five minute walk. The service takes approximately 1.5 hours and costs approximately $20.00.

By Taxi

A taxi from Pearson Airport to Ryerson will take approximately 45 minutes and cost approximately $50.00
