THATCamp GTA is delighted to announce that ThingTank will be holding a Special THATCamp GTA IdeaJam on:
The role of making and prototyping for digital humanities
An IdeaJam is an informal brainstorm around ideas (at any state of
completion) that require some extra love and sharing of expertise. If
you have an idea that you need help with, come pitch it at our
bi-monthly events. This is no Dragon’s Den or Shark Tank! Idea Jams are
informal get-togethers with just enough structure to make sure that you
get something of value out of coming.
ThingTank will be hosting a special IdeaJam for THATCamp on the topic of
making, prototyping and the digital humanities. Interested in exploring
the connections between these topics? Come jam with us!
Where: ThingTank, 376 Bathurst Street
When: Saturday, 22 October 2011, 6:00PM – 7:00PM
IdeaJam moderated by Matt Ratto, Alan Galey (University of Toronto), Bill Turkel (University of Western Ontario) and Kevin Kee (Brock University).
